What Next?

Tip: Arrive early to check in, get your course roster, and review the agenda. This will help you prepare for the topics covered and make the most of your training.

Personal items to bring:

• Comfortable clothing – You’ll be doing hands-on CPR and AED practice, so wear clothes you’re comfortable moving in 
• 
  
• Closed-toe shoes – For safety during practical sessions 
• 
  
• Note-taking materials – Notebook or tablet for jotting down key points.
• 
  
• Water bottle – Stay hydrated during the course.

Important: The AHA provides most course materials, including the student workbook, instructor manual, and training supplies like gloves, gauze pads, and bandages. You do not need to bring these unless otherwise specified.
